United Church Women (UCW)
The Lakeview UCW is an active organization for women of the congregation who wish to gather together for spiritual study, service, and fellowship. There are three UCW units at Lakeview United Church. LIGHT: Learning in God's House Together - Family Focused Children’s Ministry
When, Where, and Who? Children aged 4-12 years are invited to join us for LIGHT every Sunday from 10:15-11:30 a.m. during the school year for a fun and creative, Christian education experience.
Please join us LIGHT is open to children and their families wherever they are in their spiritual life. Sing, dance, grow and learn! We will explore the stories of Jesus with lots of room for curiosity, questions and active fun!! You are welcome to be here with us in whatever way works for your family.

Children aged 3-8 years learn about Jesus and God through the joy of singing together. The Cherub Choir meets every Friday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and shares its music during one Sunday morning service of worship each month from October to May. They also take their music to seniors' residences. There are no fees, no uniforms, and no fund raising. Each family is supplied with a CD to help reinforce the learning between rehearsals. *Note: Lakeview Cherub Choir commenced its 36th season on Friday Sep 15 at 4:30 p.m. Children are welcome to join at any time during the year but the fall is ideal to take advantage of the whole year's repertoire.
Scouting meets Thursdays 6:30-9:00 p.m.
For many years, the United Church of Canada has worked with Scouts Canada to provide opportunities for youth to develop their faith and participate in acts of service for the community. A number of Scouts Canada groups gather every week at Lakeview United Church.

The Depression Interest Group
Lakeview United Church has a Prayer Team of church members who are committed to praying for those in need of comfort and support. Through the caring and compassion of the Prayer Team, those requesting prayer are reminded and reassured that, in faith, they are never alone.
All requests are confidential and may be made by completing a Prayer Request form or by contacting Margaret Hopkinson, Chair of the Caring Committee. (306.586.5489). Those who wish to join the Prayer Team may do so by contacting Margaret Hopkinson.
