Regina Native Outreach Ministry (RNOM)

Request for Donations

Rev. Deb Anderson-Pratt and members of our board would like to THANK YOU for all of your support. The programs we are working hard to run have been so helpful and appreciated and they would not have run without your generosity.  Drop off any donations (listed below) to your UCC office.

Tim Horton's $5 Gift Cards

Street ministry is an important part of Rev. Deb's work. She spends time in the downtown and North Central communities, offering support, prayer, and love to Indigenous street-involved persons. With a Tim Horton's gift card, they can go indoors and have a warm drink and meal. Your donation of these cards with a $5 amount ensures this work can be done.

Indigenous New Mom and Baby Bags

This project has been overwhelmingly successful. Recipients have expressed that the bags are encouraging and helpful, and are full of thank-yous. The Native Services staff at the Regina General Hospital have agreed the bags are a great help and much needed. The bags include necessary items for mom and baby, plus a special treat for mom, a traditional medicine bag, and a handwritten card. The card welcomes the new baby, and provides background and instructions on the medicine bag.

Your donations of any of the following high-priority items are so appreciated:

  • menstrual pads (heavy flow)
  • nursing pads
  • blank cards
  • small gift for Mom (hand lotion, lip balm, candle, etc.)
  • diaper cream
  • baby wipes
  • newborn onesies or sleepers
  • newborn diapers
  • baby blankets

Board Members

We are still looking for board members. Our projects and activities are picking up steam! Exciting and important work is afoot: linking with other Indigenous Outreach ministries in Regina; finding a building; undertaking more projects to reach and teach people; pursuing grants and corporate sponsorships. Being a board member of RNOM is just one way of living out our Reconciliation goals: you are directly supporting and enabling the functioning of a ministry which reaches Indigenous people, led by Rev. Deb who proudly calls herself a Cree-Saulteaux Woman. Please email reginanativeoutreachministry@gmail.com if you are interested.
