Do you know of a senior who would benefit from a computer literacy class? Lakeview United Church will be hosting hands-on computer basic classes for seniors, sponsored by the New Horizons for Seniors Grant Program. The program will provide seniors with a working knowledge of a computer tablet and how to use the Internet safely and effectively. There is no cost to attend, and all equipment will be provided. Complimentary refreshments and nutritious lunches will be served. The instructor is a qualified teacher in her senior years, with many years of experience in technology and teaching. More importantly, you will be learning at your own pace — there is no pressure and no exams!

The sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (with an hour lunch break), from May 18 until June 24, 2021, at Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue. All provincial health measures will be strictly adhered to, including social distancing, wearing masks, continuous cleaning, sanitizing, washing hands, and no sharing of food or drink.

*Due to social distancing requirements, space is limited to 8 participants. Please refer potential applicants to Lily at 306.584.2504 by May 5, 2021.
