Our Church strives to be:

Christ-centered

We believe that the life and ministry of Jesus Christ is central to our understanding of God
and the ability to connect with him. We believe that Jesus was “So filled with the Holy Spirit [that through] him people experienced the presence of God among them.” ( Song of Faith) And as such we strive to live into his example, working for justice and peace, and seeking to know and understand the Holy through worship and prayer, while providing Christ-centered
education, space for questions and opportunities to serve.

Love-filled

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.” John 13:34-35

We believe that Love is the central teaching of the Bible and the divine calling of the church. As such, we seek to love each other, our community and world as God loves us.

Spirit-guided

We believe that the Spirit of God is active and moving in our congregation, city, and world. We believe that this ever-present Spirit calls us to enter into the questions of life and faith, and be open to the mystery of the divine. We welcome and encourage children to explore who God is and how the Spirit is moving in their lives while providing a gentle and loving approach to Christ-centred learning!

Mission-focused

We believe that as Christians we are called to have a heart of service and give back to our
community. Every week we take a collection that goes 100% to a cause chosen by the children and
families in our family-focused children’s ministry. We also spend time cooking and baking for
various mission projects and go out into the community to help where we can. It is important to us that children understand that they are part of a community that supports and loves each other and helps each other out.
