New Horizon Seniors' Gardening Project is off to a roaring start!

The New Horizon Seniors’ Gardening project, hosted by LUC, is off to a roaring start with 22 dedicated seniors participating at the Grow Regina Community Garden located on Queen Street.  Our project coordinator, Julia Wyeth, organizes and supervises the activities, providing expert advice on all aspects of gardening.  After putting in hard labour at the gardens on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, the seniors enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by Marilyn Gill, Penny Penniston and their crew of volunteers.  Thank you!
